David Bates and Robert Howard met at a photographic lab in Soho in the Autumn of 1999. David ran the lab whilst Robert was a freelance photographer.
Together they produce work of the highest caliber for some of the top design, advertising and architectural companies throughout London and Europe.
A job opportunity aboard a well known cruise-liner temporarily separated the dynamic duo. However, this enabled David to pursue and hone his skills as a portrait photographer.
Returning in the Autumn of 2004, David with his eye for portraiture and Robert with his eye for design, formed Howard & Bates.
The company Howard & Bates has gone from strength to strength, focusing on quality photography tailored at the request of each new couple to be.
"There is no request too big or small that we can't cater for" says Robert.
"Just take a look at the portfolio and I think the proof is in the pudding"
says David.
David and Robert both live and work in London.
Hiring Howard and Bates enables the wedding couple to be photographed by two different photographers and from two different locations. This enables every angle to be covered.
